Celine Dion has written her own Sin City nightclub anthem and performed it for the first time at her final Las Vegas residency show on Saturday (June 8).
The singer and reigning queen of Caesars Palace wrapped up her 16-year run on the Strip, but did so while ushering in a new era at the same time.
Dion is set to drop Courage, her 27th studio album, in November, and she gave the audience at the Colosseum a taste of the new material with the live debut of single "Flying On My Own."
She was downright ecstatic to perform it, and the impact Vegas' nightlife has had on her music is felt in every undulating rhythm and groove. She demanded that the crowd dance along with her, and declared at the end of the tune that she felt like she was "in the club!" as she soared through the song.
