CashMoneyAP has gone from producing type beats on YouTube to working with the likes of Migos, Lil Skies, Young Thug, and more in rap. The Guadeloupe-bred producer is taking what's left of his patience to focus on a solo career with him at the creative helm. Following last week's release of the Polo G and NoCap-assisted "No Patience," AP premieres the single's gritty visual with Billboard on Monday (May 6).
The clip finds CashMoney alongside the emerging Chicago and Alabama rappers narrating their come up in front of a local convenience store. Director Money Shot Chris makes sure to sprinkle some flair into the clip by having neon-green special effects outline the trio's every move from flexing with their sports cars to avoiding the police's intimidation.
“I wanted to get Polo G and NoCap together on a track because first I’m a big fan of both of them and I though that it would sound good to have them both on a track," the 23-year-old wunderkind beatmaker tells Billboard of the track's inspiration. "I made that beat with my brother Geoffro at the same studio that me Polo and Cap recorded the song."
