It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that Cardi B doesn't like to slow down. In the midst promotion for her record-breaking debut album Invasion Privacy, at the peak her career, she has a baby on the way and doesn't plan on digging her 6" heels into the dirt.
Cardi sounds f on a number topics in a June 20 interview for Rolling Stone, including her expected baby girl, fiance Offset, with whom she shares the cover, and the President.
Keeping things Cardi, the hip-hop star first claims that her child isn't going to have just any old baby shower. "My baby shower's not starting at no 5:00. My shit is going to start at 9 p.m. because that's how I celebrate, that's how Caribbean people celebrate," she says.
Cardi is also confident in her relationship with Offset, who is the father three other children, all with separate mothers. "People want to make fun me, saying I'm the fourth baby mom," she says, but "I know I'm not having a baby with a shitty-ass man."
"We really love each other. She's real. I wanted real. I also wanted successful," Offset chimes in.
Later, Cardi admits that she shares a lot the same parenting worries as many others. "I don't want to miss one second. I don't want to miss no smiles, I don't want to miss no new movement, I don't want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter," she confesses.
Cardi then gets on the topic Donald Trump and criticizes both his character and ability to govern. "He has proven himself to be a madman so many times and proven himself to be disrespectful to women, and that still hasn't gotten him impeached ... Clinton got impeached for cheating on his wife, and it's so clear that this n---- has sex with so many porn stars, and he's just been shown to be a dickhead," she says.
