Ever since she blew up, we've been hearing Cardi B run around town, screaming her catchphrase from every rooftop she can climb onto. She's starred in commercials and has been asked by countless late-night hosts to utter her personal saying, happily obliging and going on with the chat. However, it's about time that Cardi B started making money off of "Okurrr." It's a phrase that is associated solely to her and that's pretty special. Creating something that sticks is hard enough but Bardi has got everyone and their mother trying to roll their R's in such a manner, boosting her even further into household superstardom. The rapper has gotten some heat for applying to trademark her catchphrase, which she's responding to in a since-deleted video rant.

Bardi showed off her make-up free skin and commented on the size of her forehead, joking that since she wears lace-fronts all the time, she forgot how big her forehead was. She then addressed the universe, telling her fans that she's just trying to get the bag like others before her have always done.

"So you hoes is mad because I trademarked ‘Okurrr," said Cardi. "You think I ain’t gonna profit off this shit? Bitch white folks do it all the motherfucking time. So you’re gonna be mad at me because I want to get some motherfucking money? Let me tell you something, while I’m still here, I’m gonna secure all the fucking bags. Let me tell y’all a secret too, it’s 2019 bitches, it’s a lot of ways to get rich."

It's honestly just good business for Cardi to have trademarked her signature sound. The people getting angry about it are probably salty about everything else that Cardi does, which is fair enough. However, as she explained, she's just making her some money.
