Cardi B and Bruno Mars’ “Please Me” conquers two more radio charts as it lifts 4-1 on Rhythmic Songs airplay and 2-1 on Rap Airplay on the rankings dated April 13.

On the former, “Please” jumps to the top through a 15% surge in plays in the week ending April 7, according to Nielsen Music, in its eighth week on the list.

The collaboration’s rise secures Cardi’s sixth Rhythmic Songs No. 1. Mars, meanwhile, collects his 11th and ties Lil Wayne for the fourth-best No. 1 total among all acts. The pair trail only Drake (24), Rihanna (17) and Usher (13). Notably, both acts’ sums include their previous pairing, “Finesse.” The single, a reworked version of an album cut from Mars’ 2016 set 24K Magic, led Rhythmic Songs for two weeks in February 2018.

On Rap Airplay, “Please” climbs 2-1 in its eighth frame thanks to a 19% boost in audience in the week ending April 7. There, Cardi B locks down her fifth No. 1 and second leader of 2019, after “Money,” which banked five weeks at the summit.

Mars claims his second career leader on Rap Airplay, following a featured turn on B.o.B’s “Nothin’ on You.” The track, which was Mars’ breakout hit as a performer, logged seven weeks at No. 1 in 2010. Between his two leaders, Mars racked up six more hits on the chart, including a No. 2 collaboration with Gucci Mane and Kodak Black, “Wake Up in The Sky” in 2018.

In addition to the two new No. 1 victories, “Please” also takes over atop the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart, which ranks the most-played songs each week on the radio format. “Please” steps 3-1 as it gains 16 percent in weekly plays.

The surge in plays also helps “Please” win a second term atop the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. The song rockets 20 percent to 29.2 million in format audience and snags the chart’s Greatest Gainer honor.
