Dillon Francis is famously the least serious personality in all electronic dance music, but his alter-ego Hanzel is possibly the most serious DJ in all the world. The techno DJ can not be bothered to do anything unless it's take the set or the conversation “one deeper,” which is also the apt name his interview series that recently got a visit from Calvin Harris.
Nothing about this interview is actually serious, although it is quite hysterical and at times informative. Did you know “Calvin Harris” isn't the producer's real name? Yeah, it's actually Adam Wiles. “Hanzel” grills the “One Kiss” producer for picking a stage name that's also a totally realistic one; we also get a great glockenspiel solo.
Harris was recently in the news for being in the studio with Fifth Harmony's Normani and singer Victoria Monet. Francis has been hard at work on his forthcoming Spanish-language album, due for release sometime this year.
See a fun side the famous music man and a deep-cutting version Francis' Hanzel in the video interview below.
