Burna Boy Lusts Over Jorja Smith in Regretful ‘Gum Body’ Watch

Burna Boy and Jorja Smith's chemistry has been plain lethal on records this year. With fans clamoring for more on the heels of their sweltering "Be Honest" collab, the Nigerian artist returns with another Smith-assisted visual from his impressive African Giant project with "Gum Body," which debuted on Tuesday (Sept. 10).

Directed by Meji Alabi, Burna Boy mourns his past regrets after losing out on his love interest, and now he's left with an aching heart. Once again, the Afrofusion trailblazer brilliantly captures a vintage aesthetic, making use of a modest home featuring contrasting patterns and colors for wallpaper, drapes, and furniture.

While Burna realizes his grave mistakes, J-Money seductively dances in a blue lace skirt in the kitchen, as she ponders the thought of letting Burna back into her life, but realizes the situation is so toxic. "I can’t take these lies anymore/ It’s trying for me, it’s playing with you," Smith sings.

In a new interview with Hypebeast, Burna Boy says he hopes to see an African artist top the Billboard Hot 100. "It would be very legendary, something that brings a lot of pride to Africa, a lot of joy but from where I’m standing, I don’t really look at that," the 28-year-old relayed. "I just want to make music and touch as many people as I can."
