Brockhampton returned on Thursday (Aug. 22) to deliver another single and accompanying visual from their anticipated project Ginger with the grim "No Halo."
Each member of the boy band takes turns lamenting about various addictions and issues they've faced since rising to fame, while Deb Never handles chorus duties with the help of an owl. "Used to fight all my night terrors, now I smoke through the dreams/ Depression put me into places where I'm stuck in the seams," Dom McLennon wails. Joba then takes the baton and reveals a troubling recent trip to church. "Went to church for the hell of it, stumbled in drunk as shit/ Been goin' through it again," he sings.
The accompanying video calls on Spencer Ford behind the lens, as the crew lands on earth in reflective spacesuits.
Brockhampton's foursome of tracks have fans expectations sky high heading into Ginger, which releases RCA Records on Friday (Aug. 23). The boy band will be performing their new album in full with a free concert for fans Friday night in Los Angeles with some special guests.
