Boxer Reportedly Robbed Of $150,000 In Cash & Jewelry At Jay Z’s 40/40 Club


Pressional boxer Jermall Charlo was reportedly robbed $40,000 and an additional $115,000 worth jewelry during an altercation at Jay Z‘s 40/40 club in New York City, according to the New York Post

The 27-year old boxer was allegedly partying with his assistant and several others at the 40/40 club early Sunday morning when he got into a “physical altercation” with someone around 3am. Charlo’s assistant reportedly handed a bag, which contained the $40K cash and jewelry, to one the women that Charlo was partying with. That proved to be a costly mistake because the woman and her four friends then took f with the bag amid the scuffle.

Per the New York Post,

Charlo, who is 26-0 in his boxing career, had been at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday night watching the fights prior to going to the club, according to a Boxing Scene report. He had been scheduled to fight Hugo Centeno Jr. at Barclays, but their bout was postponed due to Centeno suffering a rib injury, according to the NY Post.
