Blac Chyna, alongside with her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, has filed a police report over a sex tape leaked online without her consent. In a tweet on Friday, Bloom announced that the report had been filed over the video, which she categorized as “Revenge porn… a crime, almost always designed to humiliate a woman.” She thanked the LAPD for their “pressionalism” in the matter.
Bloom first spoke out in support Chyna on Monday. “Revenge porn — posting explicit images without the consent everyone in those images — is a crime, a civil wrong, and a form domestic abuse, she wrote on Twitter. “It’s also a way to try to slut shame women for being sexual. Girls have killed themselves over revenge porn. It’s not a joke.” She also clarified that while Chyna did consent to the video being taken, she did not consent to its posting, which makes the leak a crime. “Whether a woman knows she’s being recorded is not the issue,” she said. “Whether she consented to posting is. Our bodies, our choice, each and every time.”
Earlier this week, the man in the video was identified as Mechie, a D.C. rapper and ex-boyfriend Chyna’s earlier this week when he spoke out about the leak. Mechie’s reps told TMZ that have a copy the tape and does not know how it made its way online. The report states that Mechie also plans to go to the police over the revenge porn.
This is not the first time Chyna has been the victim revenge porn. Less than a year ago, Chyna’s ex, Rob Kardashian, shared nude pictures Chyna online without her consent. He has not faced legal consequences for his actions.
