It’s no shocker that Latin urban and trap are dominating the music industry. Even though the scene is male-dominated, many women are taking matters into their own hands and dropping empowering, unfiltered and catchy reggaeton and trap tunes.
Becky G, for example, kicked off 2019 with the release of her English track “LBD,” a sensual trap song that highlights how powerful she feels in her little black dress. Karol G dipped her toes in the Latin trap scene by collaborating with Anuel AA in “Culpables,” while Jennifer Lopez also tested the trap waters with Bad Bunny in “Te Guste.” Most recently, Natti Natasha flaunted her trap skills in her new single “Obsesion.”
Although they are not the only ladies currently killing the game, Billboard is curious to know: Which Latina urban singer is behind your favorite trap song?
