Last month, a new supergroup entered hip-hop. Members of Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, and the Underachievers all joined forces to form what is now known as the menacing Beast Coast. For their first offering, the NYC collective unleashed the raucous posse cut "Left Hand." On Wednesday night (April 10), Beast Coast brought that same energy from the track to Fallon for a lively performance.
Meechy Darko sets the tone with his raspy vocals, which perfectly align with the gritty city-themed stage design with a helicopter spotlight flying high above. Pro Era's Nyck Caution hits the Fallon stage and then Zombie Juice surprises the crowd by coming out from underneath a table. Before you know it, there's seven Beast Coasters huddled up seemingly performing some sort of ceremonial haka dance when Joey Bada$$ enters the scene.
The Tyler Dopps-produced "Left Hand" will serve as the lead single off Beast Coast's upcoming self-titled debut album. The wrecking crew also hits the road for the Escape From New York Tour starting on July 23 in Seattle following a few festival appearances.
