Bay Area ambassador P-Lo shares highly anticipated album SHINE

The Bay Area’s favorite rapper/producer PLo is well on his way to break out of being West Coast favorite and is primed for national adulation. Starting out as the co-founder/ringleader and chief producer for Bay Area collective HBK Gang, PLo‘s production helped define the current sound of the Bay Area (and some would argue LA too…) producing local hits such as IAMSU’s “Only That Real” and Sage The Gemini’s “Remember Me.” He also produced tracks on YG’s Still Brazy and Kehlani’s SweetSexySavage, and reached the Billboard Hot 100 with Yo Gotti’s “Act Right.” And with his own series of solo releases, PLo has developed an equally robust reputation as an artist, heating up West Coast blocks with his More Than Everything (2017) and PRIME (2018) projects.

The follow-up to his breakthrough album PRIME, SHINE shows a different side of PLo, combining bright sonics with heavy bass and offering personal insight into the man behind the grill. In June, PLo shared the album’s first single “Just Gang,”  which earned placement on Spotify’s Cali Fire playlist. Next came “Going Big,” which features prominently in the new NFL video game Madden 20. Featuring appearances from Dom Kennedy, Mozzy, Mike Sherm, Jay Anthony, Bosko, and more, SHINE is online now!
