The band earns its second leader, following 2018’s cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie.”
For the first time, Bad Wolves lead a Billboard chart with an original song, as "Remember When" lifts 3-1 on the Mainstream Rock Songs airplay survey dated July 13.
Previously, the group paced Mainstream Rock Songs with its debut hit, its cover of The Cranberries' "Zombie," which reigned for three weeks in May 2018.
All three of Bad Wolves' charting singles on Mainstream Rock Songs have reached the top two; "Zombie" follow-up "Hear Me Now," featuring Diamante, hit No. 2 in December 2018.
"Remember When" reaches No. 1 in its 24th week on Mainstream Rock Songs, becoming the third song in 2019 to take at least 24 weeks to reign, following Rival Sons' "Do Your Worst" (24 weeks, March 29) and The Glorious Sons' "S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)" (25 weeks, Jan. 19). Trapt's "Headstrong" holds the mark for the longest rise to No. 1 overall (40 weeks, July 26, 2003).
"Remember When" concurrently reaches a new No. 14 high on the all-rock-format Rock Airplay chart, drawing 4.5 million audience impressions (up 8%), according to Nielsen Music.
The song is the third single from Disobey, Bad Wolves' debut album. The set debuted at No. 1 on Hard Rock Albums and No. 23 on the Billboard 200 dated May 26, 2018, with 19,000 equivalent album units earned; it has earned 274,000 units to date.
