Bad Bunny Oozes Global Energy and Good Vibes in 'Nueva Religion' Tour

Trap global sensation Bad Bunny brought the second leg his La Nueva Religion tour to a sold out show at Prudential Center in New Jersey on Saturday night (Aug. 18).

The show was the a stop on the second leg his U.S. tour, which resumed after a month-long detour through Europe. Bad Bunny vigorously ripped through his set, playing an impressive medley hits currently scorching the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Latin charts with focus and a level lightheartedness that charmed and captivated more than 19,000 fans.

The Puerto Rican star had already played New York earlier in the year, but he still sold out the Prudential Center, playing to a crowd that spanned generations and cultures with fans proudly and enthusiastically waving Puerto Rican, Indian, African, Venezuelan, Italian and Mexican flags throughout the concert.

As multicolored light shows, pyrotechnics, and vibrant, interactive visuals launched in mesmerizing unison, Bad Bunny's performance was a hyper-creative, engaging and fun celebration not only music but Latino culture as a whole. Thanks to one main stage and a second smaller stage towards the back the venue, fans in every section felt like they had a front-row seat, and sang along to hits like “Estamos Bien,” “Amorfoda,” “Chambea,” “Krippy Kush,” “Te Bote,” “Mayores,” “Ahora Me Llama” and “I Like It.”

Arcángel was the surprise guest and performed current banger “Original” with his pal. Then he continued to play a trio his own singles to an exalted crowd as Bad Bunny sat on the sidelines and fanatically sang every word to Arcángel’s verses.

The camaraderie, respect, and genuine friendship displayed between these two Puerto Rican powerhouses is reflective reggaetón’s current climate musical collaboration.

And Bad Bunny’s performance, together with the production and stage design,  made for a wildly impressive spectacle that is wonderfully representative Latin culture, global music and positive energy.
