Ariana Grande is returning to the fold. According to TMZ, the singer recently wrapped up for fourth album, which is already being hailed as a “personal masterpiece.” The publication states that Ariana Grande held a listening session for the project in its entirety; executives from her label Republic Records were in attendance, as was her manager Scooter Braun. From the sound it, the project is shaping up to be a big one.
Apparently, half the untitled album is produced by the legendary Pharrell Williams, while the other half is produced by Max Martin. There’s no word on whether or not Mac Miller will be making an appearance, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see the couple link up for a collaboration. From the sound it, Ariana will be more involved in the entire songwriting process, which makes a first for the singer.
The project marks her first album since the Manchester Bombing, which must have had a pround effect on the singer. In May 2017, tragedy struck when a bomb went f at one her concerts, claiming the lives twenty three people. After the terrorist attack, Grande issued a heartbreaking statement “broken. from the bottom my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.” She went on to return to Manchester for a benefit concert, raising over £10 million for victims. It’s great to hear that Ariana is preparing for a comeback, and from the sound it, it’s going to be a powerful piece work.
