Ariana Grande is difficult for a No. 1 launch on subsequent week's Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Feb. 2), as her new single "7 Rings" may blast in on the summit, following its Jan. 18 launch.

In projecting partial-week knowledge, "7 Rings," launched on Republic Records, may launch with over 70 million U.S. streams, 20 million in airplay viewers and 80,000 downloads bought, putting it in line to reach because the most-streamed and most-sold tune of the week.

The Hot 100 blends weekly streaming, airplay and gross sales knowledge, in response to Nielsen Music.

"7 Rings," which channels the melody of The Sound of Music's "My Favorite Things," and its official video, arrived firstly of the Jan. 18-24 streaming and monitoring week feeding subsequent week's Hot 100 (with airplay measured Jan. 21-27).

If "7 Rings" debuts at No. 1 on the Hot 100, it could mark simply the 33rd single (of 1,082 No. 1s all-time) to open on prime. Plus, Grande would turn into simply the fifth artist with a number of No. 1 entrances, becoming a member of Mariah Carey, the chief with three, Justin Bieber, Drake and Britney Spears (two every).
