Not only did Ariana Grande make Coachella history by being the youngest artist to headline, she also put together an unforgettable set with an epic line-up of surprise guests. “I’ve been rehearsing my whole fucking life for this moment,” Grande said as she performed singles such as “God is a Woman,” and “Bad Idea.” But it didn’t stop there. During her set, four out of five NYSYNC members took to the stage to perform “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” which uses their “It Makes Me Ill” sample. Ariana also danced alongside JC, Chris, Joey and Lance when they performed “Tearin’ Up My Heart.”
Later in her set, frequent collaborator, Nicki Minaj, joined Grande for “Side to Side” – technical difficulties and all. Her biggest surprise for the fans came at the end, however, when Grande brought out Diddy and Ma$e for “Mo Money, Mo Problems! Puff not only shouted out Biggie, and Tupac, but Ariana’s late boyfriend, Mac Miller.
