Ari Lennox Dances in the Prairies for Serene ‘Up Late’ Watch

Ari Lennox is breathing fresh air into R&B with her long-awaited Shea Butter Baby debut album. The Dreamville artist stays on that same wavelength for the tranquil "Up Late" video, which released Tuesday (May 14), finding Lennox dancing away in the calm green pastures.

The Lacey Duke-directed visual plants a white and red platform randomly in the middle of the open mountainous region, as Ari belts out the sensual lyrics and moves to the beat of her final SBB single under the clear blue skies. The D.C. native is joined on set by Masego, who helped produce the record, and adds some flavor by tunefully playing the saxophone while donning a red robe.

With Lennox turning to music to help self-medicate through her own enduring journey, she believes that "these vibes can heal a lot of people" going through similar life experiences.
