Ahead of the discharge of her second studio album, Allie X dropped "Girl of the Year" on Friday (Oct. 26). The singer took to Twitter on Wednesday to tease an 11-second clip of the monitor earlier than premiering the music in full. Super Sunset, Allie X's sophomore effort, is ready to launch on Monday.

The glimmering, synth-pop-infused monitor sees Allie X in a fling wherein she struggles to keep up her curiosity's consideration. Though she realizes its inevitable, she fights to be the woman of the 12 months despite it being apparent one other woman is in line to take her place.

"Girl of  the Year" is the fifth music that the songstress has launched from the upcoming venture, following "Focus," "Not So Bad In LA," "Science" and "Little Things."
