Alicia Keys kicked off the rollout of her seventh studio album on Tuesday (Sept. 17) with the release of the vulnerable "Show Me Love" featuring Miguel. Keys also delivered a "visual sonic installation" to the powerful song, which stars actor Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana, and husband Marco Perego Saldana.
Cara Stricker helped execute Keys' vision behind the lens, piecing together slow-motion one-shot scenes to display a visual representation of love's enduring journey. "I have been on this journey to be more vulnerable; in my life, in my music; and this new visual experience reflects this time," said the New York City native. "Show me loves displays different expressions of love, the journey of it, the push and pull, the struggle and the eventual joy and peace."
For those in the NYC area, the visual sonic installion will be open to the public from Sept. 18 through Sept. 22 at Dolby SoHo. Keys actually popped up at the debut of the installation to bless fans with a surprise "Show Me Love" performance alongside Miguel at the NYC store location.
