It's a bird, it's a plane, it's an alien invasion. It's the music video for Alan Walker's bright and shiny stomper "Darkside," and it's got all kinds craziness going on.

It all makes sense if you've been paying attention to the unfolding trilogy. The story started with "All Falls Down," wherein a post-apocalyptic vision humanity exists without modern technology. A prequel came with "Tired," explaining that a solar storm decimated the planet's infrastructure, shrouding the human race in a new kind intellectual and electrical darkness. "Darkside" shows the second installment in this epic tale, dubbed "the World Walker." Two sects man meet in the middle to greet a strange new beginning.

The song itself is triumphant and upbeat, even as the lyrics singer-songwriters Au/Ra and Tomine Harket lure one to the shadows. It's got a swinging jump to its rhythm, sure to please Walker fans around the globe. The Norwegian producer is also about to make his North American fans happy with upcoming performances at Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo and more.
