While Blinks were still getting to know the BLACKPINK girls, fans did quickly learn of the group's love for Ariana Grande. During a live-stream broadcast, viewers were treated to some impromptu singing by the members, delivering a bit of Ariana Grande's "Into You." It was a particularly special moment for fans to hear member Lisa show off her strong singing, effortlessly floating through the song's pre-chorus. There's been a few other TV and social-media moments where the girls have covered the song.
August 2017: Jennie goes to Ariana's Seoul concert
Jennie was in full fangirl mode at the Seoul concert date of Ariana's Dangerous Woman Tour, even buying merchandise and a lightstick for the show.

Rosé made it clear that she was loving Ari's Sweetener album upon release, sharing moments on her Instagram Story of her listening to deep cuts like "Goodnight n Go" and lyrics from the LP's Imogen Heap interpolation.

March 2019: Rosé uploads a funny cover of "7 Rings"
Just days before they'd meet at Coachella, Rosé uploaded a silly cover of Ariana's Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "7 Rings" but served more Sound of Music than Dangerous Woman. Fans loved hearing the New Zealand singer deliver a British take on the song through lines like "Been through some bad shit, I should be a sad bitch."
March 2019 - Ari says her Coachella plans include BLACKPINK
Days before both artists would make their Coachella debuts, Ariana shared with a fan on Instagram that she not only knew BLACKPINK, but was also going to try to see them the second week of Coachella.
April 2019: They finally meet at Coachella
The photo fans around the world were waiting for: Ariana Grande and BLACKPINK together in the flesh! Sadly, member Jisoo was missing from the photo (the girls later said she was resting at the time), but the photo went insanely viral with Grande yet to post a photo afterward that has more likes than the 6.7 million the snap has accrued.
BLACKPINK's Jennie, Rosé and Lisa continued to show their support for Ariana all Coachella weekend. The three stars were photographed rocking pieces from the singer's special NASA merch collection, launched in celebration of the diva's headlining Coachella sets. May 2019 - BLACKPINK pay tribute to Manchester victims
During their performance in Manchester, BLACKPINK shared a message of support to the victims from the terrorist attack outside Grande's 2017 concert. The group also opted to not perform certain songs from their setlist in case it would be triggering or upsetting to those in attendance.
