6ix9ine Sued For $2M After Being Accused Of Ripping Off Concert Livestream Company

Just when he thought he would make a strong comeback, 6ix9ine has run into yet another legal issue. On Friday (April 15), TMZ Hip Hop reported a concert streaming service is suing the Brooklyn rapper for bailing out on two scheduled events.

According to the report by TMZ, Streamusic — a company that streams live shows through an app — tapped 6ix9ine to perform two shows in December 2021 in Hollywood, California. The company was planning on streaming both concerts live, but 6ix9ine had other plans as he decided to skip out on the whole thing.

In documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Streamusic claimed to pay Tekashi $150,000 to perform at both shows and asked him to promote the event on his Instagram page. In early December, the “GUMMO” rapper allegedly stopped responding to the company when they tried to get him to do the IG promos and would eventually not show up for the concerts.

6ix9ine reached out to Streamusic in January to craft a new deal and reschedule the two concerts, but the company alleged the rapper went ghost again. Streamusic said they sent out seven different letters to Tekashi, but they all were ignored, and he never took the stage.

Because 6ix9ine allegedly bailed on the event multiple times, Streamusic is suing him for breach of contract and fraud while also asking for $2 million for him ditching the agreement. It’s not like 6ix9ine doesn’t have the money either, as he posted an Instagram video of himself on Thursday (April 14) bragging about how rich he is and holding $1.3 million in cash.

“THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK!!,” 6ix9ine wrote in the caption of his IG post. “IM BACK!! ASK THEM POST THERE HOUSE THEY CARS THEY BANK ACCOUNT.YOU DONT LIVE LIKE THIS I OWN EVERYTHING YOU GUYS LEASE!! I TOOK OFF RAP 2 YEARS!! I COULD DO THAT YALL CANT!! THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK!!”

Prior to that post, 6ix9ine told a judge his career had stalled since his time in jail and admitted he was running low on cash. Wack 100 also claimed 6ix9ine was so broke he needed $20 just for gas.
