5 Things to Know About Latin Artists On the Charts This Week

Thanks to increasingly diverse collaborations, artists like Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny and Ozuna have been able to cross over from Latin to mainstream charts.

Billboard has gathered five things to know about how Latin artists are performing on Billboard’s mainstream charts (such as the Hot 100, Artist 100, and Billboard 200) for the week ending July 6.

Check them out below.


1. On the Billboard 200 chart, Bad Bunny’s X100Pre ranks at No. 50. (The album peaked at No. 11 on the Jan. 12-dated tally).

2. Six Spanish-language songs are charting on the Hot 100 this week: Daddy Yankee and Snow’s “Con Calma” (No. 37), Bad Bunny’s “Callaita” (No. 68), Lunay’s “Soltera” with Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny (No. 75), Sech’s “Otro Trago” (No. 83), Pedro CapĆ³ and Farruko’s “Calma” (No. 91) and Ozuna’s “Baila Baila Baila” remix (97).

3. On the Social 50 chart, Sebastian Yatra ranks at No. 31, Daddy Yankee is at No. 38, Lali is at No. 40 and CNCO is at No. 41.

4. Over on the Emerging Artists chart, Panamanian artist Sech ranks at No. 19 and Tainy is at No. 27. 

5. On the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, DJ Snake’s “Taki Taki” featuring Selena Gomez, Ozuna and Cardi B ranks at No. 5, while “On My Way” by Alan Walker, Sabrina Carpenter and Farruko is at No. 14, Alesso’s “Sad Song” with Argentinian singer Tini is at No. 22, and "Make It Hot," Major Lazer’s collab with Anitta, is at No. 23.
