In his video for “Corner Store,” self-described “big fat muthafucka with the puffs” Punk Adams reclaims the art voguing: "For years we've seen artists take from the ballroom scene and LGBTQ community. The problem is we were shamed for using it ourselves. ‘Corner Store’ is a representation us showcasing our culture, unapologetically."

Buzzworthy Australian rock goddess Alex Lahey brings her brand post-punk sing-alongs to NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday (August 7). Supporting acts include queer singer/songwriter Pronoun and Philadelphia-based foursome Cold Fronts.
Documentary to Learn Something From
Choreographer Jamal Sims’ directorial debut When the Beat Drops is finally making its broadcast premiere on Logo on Thursday (August 9) at 8 p.m. ET. The flick, which centers on the underground dance scene known as “bucking,” was just awarded the grand jury prize at Outfest.
