3 Times Charlie Puth Proved He’s the Biggest ‘Friends’ Fan

We've always known that Charlie Puth was a musical scholar, but this past month has taught us that he is also a Friends scholar.

Below, a review of the three times Puth has recently proven he's the No. 1 Friends fan.

He celebrated the show's 25th anniversary with Courteney Cox & Lisa Kudrow

Puth posted up fireside with Cox and Kudrow, alongside director/producer Judd Apatow, on Sept. 23 in celebration of the show’s 25th anniversary. Despite being only 3 years old when the NBC sitcom premiered on Sept. 22, 1994, Puth gets major props for pulling up to the mini-reunion.

Cox tested his fandom on Billboard's video series "Quizzed"

Puth later reunited with Cox so she could put him to the test for Billboard's "Quizzed" on Oct. 17. The 27-year-old singer gave his best renditions of “Smelly Cat” — which Kudrow’s eclectic character Phoebe Buffay always performed at Central Perk — and the show’s seminal theme song by The Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There for You” before winning the infamous Geller Cup.

Jennifer Aniston surprised Puth on Ellen

On Monday, Ellen DeGeneres introduced Puth to yet another Friends castmember: Jennifer Aniston. When Ellen brought up the possibility of a Friends reboot, Puth offered to “do all the new music” and sing the new version of the theme song with DeGeneres.
