Brendon Urie got some major vocal back-up at Panic! at the Disco's performance in Long Island on Friday night (July 20) when Cyndi Lauper joined him onstage to belt out one her biggest hits.
The frontman couldn't contain his joy as he and Lauper sang through her career-launching 1983 smash, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." He nailed the highest notes in his vocal range and danced and twirled across the stage, amping up the crowd and serving as Lauper's enthusiastic hype man through the chorus.
They spent much the song holding hands and playing f each other, and to dub the brief duet an explosion positive vibes wouldn't be an understatement. Urie starred in Kinky Boots, the musical featuring original compositions by Lauper, in a 2017 production, so clearly Urie can't get enough Lauper's musical chemistry.
